If he's looking at OSU, I hope all of our private investigators are laser focused on making sure he doesn't receive and monetary inducements. And also that the first contact between him and the school wasn't until the portal announcement. That would be a real competitive advantage to get the top QB in the country without following the rules.

Urban Meyer likely set up a major league bagmen operation, which is why Ohio State is always on the final list for 5 stars. Why else would OSU be always mentioned, and Michigan almost never mentioned. Winning? Self explanatory. It’s astonishing to me the lack of impact that 3 straight Big 10 titles/CFP appearances has on recruiting. Coaching stability? Michigan has an issue here, but it’s no secret that the natives are getting restless with Day. Weather-no difference. Facilities-no first hand knowledge, but I suspect no difference. Culture? Michigan has this one. It’s got be be money and/or differing academic expectations. A private investigation of Ohio State recruiting practices would probably bear fruit.

Don't know what the hell is going on behind closed doors at OSU, but they must be in taking a lot more than the $13 million that Day asked for. If the NCAA looked into what FSU did, then how can they not be pressured into looking into what OSU is doing.

We provided proof that the had our signs in 2018-19, and that they shared our signs with Purdue and Iowa for the B1G CG in 21 & 22. The B1G Commish (Petitti) yawned at that in the face of the biggest cheating scandal in the history of the world...

I couldn’t care less. Even if OSU manages to win it all next year, it’ll be with mercenaries. That will never come close to what Michigan had this year.

I love how they straight up ignore that almost all of their OL for the national title team was built with the transfer portal.

#2 CB was from the transfer portal
#2 in sacks.....transfer portal
#3 tackler......transfer portal
#1 blocking TE.....transfer portal
one of their better rotational DTs.....transfer portal

"no mercenaries" though    scUM probably does not win the national title without the transfer portal stacking that OL and providing a bit of a boost on defense.

If I was Warde, I would write a letter to both the NCAA and the Big Ten demanding a public and crystal clear definition of the rules regarding Portal tampering and NIL inducements.

I would be careful to point out in detail what is blatantly going on at Ohio State and other SEC places, and then demand a definitive statement:
Are you enforcing these rules or are you not?

If you are, you have some work to do. Now.

If you are not, then we are going to play by the same rules as everyone else and don't you dare come after us later for selective punishment.
For the record: what is your actual policy?

I’m too awesome to know how to quote the open letter he wrote for warde to the big ten and ncaa. But that’s awesome. I like how he asks “what are the rules?” How awesome is it that a big ten AD would ask what the rules are. Isn’t that like a trial lawyer asking the rules about what he can or can’t ask a witness? (At least as far as what I know from TV)
