Is Underwood willing to sit the bench? They spent alot of money.

I don't think 5* QBs are going anywhere now a days to willingly sit. I'm sure the people behind that money are gonna want to see him on the field right away too. If the kid is really that good you potentially only get 2 years of use out of him if he sits year 1 and then is gone after year 3

Did Coach Day shit the bed against an inferior UM team last month? Yes.
Did UM engage in a multi-year, impermissible advanced scouting scheme that is currently under the microscope of NCAA enforcement staff and the Committee on Infractions? Also yes.
Did NCAA enforcement staff offer a negotiated resolution to UM late this summer that included vacated wins from 21-23, loss of recognition of the B1G and CFP championships, a multi-year postseason ban, scholarship reductions, show-cause penalties for coaches, fines, and probation? Still yes.
Does the NCAA have them dead-to-rights, with UM's window of "deny and delay" quickly closing? Absolutely.
Is there still an active FBI investigation into computer crimes by UM coaching staff inside the football facility? You aren't going to believe this...

November 29th broke the brains of a lot of Ohio State fans. Now, they're insistent on downplaying--if not outright ignoring--the cheating because the cheating doesn't play into the narrative of their bloodlust for Day's head. "He lost four in a ROW!!!!"

As PD said, two things can be simultaneously true. Day shit the bed last month and lost to a team he had no business losing to. That doesn't erase the fact that tcun ran a multi-year systematic cheating system that is arguably the greatest such scheme in American sports history which directly affected the on-field results for three seasons, so the previous three losses are very much debatable.

Absolutely agree with you. Unfortunately it made the last loss all that much worse. You couldn't ask for a better situation to restore order to the world and shut up those cocksuckers. But Day provides them the only path to victory by pandering to his demons of toughness.
