Sooooo, go play in a QB friendly offense with weapons around him at a (relatively) stable program, or go play for a HC who appears to be in waaaay over his head with no weapons, the worst offensive coordinator in the country and a sludge fart offense. That's not even considering the NCAA hammer that appears to be cocked and aimed squarely on their dirty-ass program. Hell, Cryin' Sherrone might not even be there much longer if that hammer drops and he's under it...

Selling points: 1. Fresh start, exciting new opportunities, new coaches with fresh ideas. 2. Shorter schedule means fewer hits and fewer concussions. 3. Low pressure environment, exceeding expectations much easier to achieve. 4. Spend holidays with family at home.
5. Some high-visibility matchups against top teams where he will be seen getting hit, intercepted, and sacked multiple times.

The stench of desperation. They know that program is about to wander in the desert for a decade.

I keep hearing how the hammer is coming down on dUMb, but also keep not seeing it. When the hell is it happening?

tCun have until the week of The Game to respond to the NOA. If they don't work out some kind of negotiated settlement/punishment by that point, it goes to the Committee on Infractions who levies penalties. How long that takes, I don't know, but expectations I've read is not long. There's nothing out of the ordinary happening. tCun always had 90 days from receiving the NOA to respond.
