This post is a week old: This did not age well, but I don’t want to call anyone out so I omitted the identity of the OP. This isn’t personal; just making a point about the board in general

They aren’t rolling into Columbus with 10 wins. That ship has sailed.

The only way they roll into the ‘Shoe with 9 wins is if they go undefeated from here, which includes beating Oregon

The point here is that, if you find yourself at odds with most of the board, maybe it’s not because the rest of us are overly optimistic.
10 wins was laughable. Hell, 9 wins was laughable.

Look at their remaining schedule:

They are going to be underdogs in at least 4 of these games. Frankly I'd be shocked if they won more than 2 games the rest of the way. They are shit and are ridiculously lucky to have the record that they do have right now.

They are Lincoln Riley & the Varmints shooting themselves directly in the foot twice in the first half away from being 2-4 right now with those two wins being underwhelming affairs against a meh Fresno St and a terrible Butch Jones-led Arky St. The horseshoe they've had up their ass fully dislodged last night. If they come into The Game better that 6-5 I'll be shocked.

4 losses, 1 win and 1 tossup

So, it has to be sinking in that this year is lost, particularly now that it's clear that Tuttle is not going save them. How serious do they get about sacrificing this year in the hopes that they get a ban for just next year and save 2023? And does the NCAA give in or stand firm?

And sacrificing this year costs them nothing. It doesn't hurt recruiting or push kids into the portal.

Great reading over on _goboard watching them try to convince themselves Tuttle is going to make their offense competent. You know, the seventh year guy who has never seen regular playing time and couldn't even get regular playing time on bad Indiana teams.
Defense stuttered for one series because they weren't expecting a QB who could throw a football. After that, UW adjusted and shut Tuttle down. He's not going to take them anywhere.

They are in full meltdown mode on the interwebs, blaming Warde for not keeping Cheatin' Jimmy.
They are so god damned stupid to think that Harbaugh wanted to stay. He wanted the NFL after 2021. He wanted the NFL after 2022. And he sure as shit wanted the NFL after 2023 and before the ncaa came to town and suspended and show caused his ass into oblivion.

And if memory serves me correctly, didn't Ono make some big, grandstanding gesture and announcement early in the 2023 season that he was personally stepping in to take over Harbaugh's extension negotiation. Why aren't they blaming him? Or why aren't they blaming Harbaugh himself for his "immunity clause" demand that tsun's lawyers were never going to sign off on regardless of how hard Ono begged.

And Harbaugh would be doing just as poorly without Stalions on the sidelines.
