That's about where I'm at. They've clearly cheated and effected way more than their own roster. I mean there's no way they have the program resurgence to even get to the playoff this year without the cheating leading to rekindled fan interest, leading to increased donations to NIL fund, leading to player retention into retirement age, leading to etc etc. It all begins with blatant cheating. If that isn't what the NCAA exists to prevent/punish then wtf are we doing here.

However, if everything clicks this year for the Bucks and they play to their potential and the NCAA drops the righteous hammer on TSUN....I'll make out with Houston Nutt or ride on the back of Petrinos Harley

They buy every ounce of his schtick. It’s really fascinating to watch. The guy leaves them completely high and dry and he’s got them all out here acting like they are happy for him

The same scum whose arrogance made November miserable in the 90s have now led a movement (it‘s not just them) that has stripped my favorite sport of its integrity and turned it into something than turns my stomach

I'm with ya, brother. I didn't watch a single non-tOSU game this past season. Not one. I used to spend my Saturdays parked in front of the TV watching any game that was on. It was my favorite sport, and second wasn't even close. Now, I follow it peripherally...honestly mostly on this board. So much has changed, it doesn't even resemble the sports I once loved.

It has been a couple weeks of pure madness for myself personally. Things are only now beginning to slowly calm down.

But in those couple weeks, I've learned something - you cannot depend upon others who have no emotional tie or stake in your pursuit. The NCAA has nothing in this other than potentially what they might deem as a bit of stonewalling. The B1G did not, and will not, do a damn thing because one of their member institutions brought home a Natty. Beating the SEC golden child along the way.

No, do not count on the NCAA or anyone else for that matter, to ever do the right thing. Do it yourself, and do it for yourself. If scUM gets LIOC and hammered while tOSU uses that as nitro to win the next 10 straight, maybe wining a 'ship or two ourselves - I'd be right as rain.

If the NCAA does nothing? Win the next 10 straight and win a title or two along the way.

The Bucks failed to bury this evil where it arose from back in November. At this point, if tOSU considers itself the top dog, the leaders of the conference, then you own that failure. We failed to put and end to their run. So, now, the only course is forward. Every recruit, national or local, every coach, Buckeye born and bred or not, needs to wash in the waters of scUM hatred. It *must* be made personal again. CJ Stroud needs to come back every season to remind the team he was robbed of a Heisman. Marv needs to come back and remind everyone to win a pair of those gold pants on his behalf.

When it's done, every single time, do not shake their hands or acknowledge them. You do not show honor to those unbecoming and unworthy of it. Beat their ass, then laugh as you walk off the field. I'm not counting on the suits, and neither should you. This is only made right on the field and no where else.

All because our players sold some trinkets and their coach was less than forthcoming. What tOSU was guilty of pales in comparison to the allegations they're facing that go directly to the integrity of the game. Infractions that occured when they were already UNDER INVESTIGATION for recruiting violations.

If they don't get popped with a postseason ban (preferably multiple years) and a solid reduction in scholarships I don't know if my CFB fandom survive. It has already fallen off significantly with all of this change across the landscape of CFB, if outright cheating isn't punished, I don't know how I can possibly give a fuck anymore.

I agree with all that you said. But college football is going to miss you, at least a little bit. The NCAA has no teeth. They know they have no teeth. The member institutions know that the NCAA has no teeth. If the NCAA tries to do too much, in any situation, the schools might fight back. The NCAA will show the world that they don't have any teeth. If the NCAA does nothing, we'll all still know that they have no teeth, but the NCAA can pretend to have teeth, and they can pretend that we're all still scared of them.
The most we'll see is 2021-2022 seasons vacated. The Big Ten might take away those 2 championships. But no one will take away 2023 from them. They'll keep 2023. The only coaches who might get "show cause" will be the ones already in the NFL. No players will be punished. Even Central Michigan won't get punished. No scholarship reductions. No post-season bans.
If I had my way, they should vacate 2021-2023 - all games. All championships should be forfeited. Investigate Corum on his part of Connor Stalions's "business". And the Big Ten should refuse to play Central Michigan for however long their current head coach is there plus 5 years.
Also, screw Notre Dame.

I agree with all that you've stated. I wish the NCAA could do more, but they not only have no cojones, but they are ridiculously inconsistent in their punishments. Sad to see you go @NFBuck , but something tells me that that bold proclamation won't last long once OSU starts winning, and especially if they win big and sustain it. Fans are quick to make over the top quotes when the games aren't played, so many people will say they'll never watch CFB again. But when OSU dog walks scUM I can assure you that this board will explode. And when OSU wins an NC, all the people bemoaning NIL and the Portal will all of the sudden have no problem with it.

It'd be nice to see the death penalty or LOIC thrown at scUM, but it ain't happening. They'll lose some schollies, lose a season of wins, and maybe a B1G championship. Sorry, but Hairball and the coaches who leave with him will face nothing, nor will the players heading to the NFL. But Moore is going to be severely hindered going forward and I can see scUM going to back to the days of cHoke and RichRod. And honestly another almost decade of dominance(I'm hoping for longer) is even better than whatever punishment is given. Because we will see another level of smugness until the Game is played again. Wiping that smile off of their faces with a 5TD beatdown would be great!

Oh, I'm not going anywhere. I'll always love tOSU and follow through thick and thin, but my love for the sport as a whole is largely gone and it has nothing to do with the results of any games. It just doesn't resemble the sport I loved anymore. I just have zero interest in watching the sport at large. Hell, truth be told, I only watched probably 2/3 of the Buckeye games over the past 2 years. Nothing to do with how they're performing, I just no longer plan my Saturdays around a football game(s).
