The claims that they "don't do things like everyone else!" turned out to be true, they really do things way worse than anyone else.
Seems like a good time to remind everyone again that before they implemented their unprecedented cheating system, they ducked an ass beating from tOSU in 2020.

When you've had it instilled into you from every level of the university that you're superior to everyone else, can never do anything wrong and are always the victim when bad things happen, it gives them a sense of entitlement to act like assholes.

A few days ago, I though the chances of UM accepting their fate and moving forward before their reply deadline was somewhere around zero.
After two interesting conversations today, there's some momentum forming... less of a negotiation, more of an acceptance. Flushing this year as part of the absolutely certain postseason ban is appealing. We could see movement in the coming weeks.
Losing most of the '23 season and recognition of their natty* is still the sticking point, but the NCAA isn't budging and UM might be inching closer to biting the bullet.
Nothing guaranteed, obviously, but it seems much closer to 50/50 than I ever would have guessed.

They're gonna fight to keep that Natty* until they draw their last breath, which from any angle is absurd. There's apparently hard evidence that they cheated for at least half of the 2023 season, which to any rational human being with a pulse disqualifies them. The NCAA better stick to their guns. Don't give the cheating scumbags an inch.

They agree to stripping away that national championship, and we'll see how strong Yoko's cult is. They'll turn on him in a minute, and all those elected regents will toss him into a volcano. I'm sure he realizes this and is probably the one fighting hardest to keep it.

It could possibly mean that they get to keep their wins over the three creampuffs that they didn't scout while vacating any teams that the ncaa knows were scouted regardless if Stalions was on the sideline. I'd be ok with that as long as the B1G and NC titles are stripped.
