If him, would he then get his first win in our eyes making him Mike "1-4" Hart?

Problem is this assumes you have a good OL.

Which they have the opposite of a good OL.

Their only option is this route. If they want any chance they need to put in Orji and run option football. Then hope Orji can hit a few wide open play actions or something.

Thats their only shot
This also assumes that Orji is a competent P4 QB who can get the ball to Loveland and Edwards other than screens

He’s done fine on the 2 yard play action flat pass so far this season lol… has two of those for the touchdowns I think.

That’s their only hope. Just run, run, play action (or run again if you’re close).

The issue again is that their offensive line is shit too so they can’t just be one dimensional against good defenses.

08/25/2023: The Big Ten Conference retains U.S. Integrity (USI) "to enhance monitoring efforts and provide additional educational resources to help prevent student-athletes, coaches, and staff from engaging in prohibited sports wagering.... USI will provide integrity monitoring, educational, and social media monitoring services to the Big Ten Conference via its proprietary dashboard. USI conducts analysis across dozens of data sets to proactively identify irregular contest-level, officiating and wagering patterns."
On a parallel but otherwise totally separate timeline, the third firm began investigating Stalions' scheme in late August or early September 2023. They had help from the inside, a UM football staffer was providing access to the shared drive and other materials. This firm went to the NCAA with their findings - a shockingly comprehensive investigation over the course of about 6-7 weeks - in October.
I've always believed that US Integrity (USI) was "The Third Firm" (sounds like a good title for a movie). I suspect that, upon being hired by the Big Ten, operatives from USI met with coaches from all Big Ten schools and asked them to look for suspicious activity (probably in the context of players betting, point shaving, throwing games, etc.). At one of those routine introductory meetings, someone at scUM went Benedict Arnold and turned the cheaters in. The timeframe works (late August or early September), USI presumably had access to the scUM coaching staff, and USI certainly had the manpower and experience to conduct a very quick and thorough investigations (especially with inside help from the scUM mole).

That's what a lot of people over on _goboard want. Like installing an essentially dead scheme as the base offense is something that can just be done in-season, on the fly. DFBIA.

Would be way more of a train wreck than when rich Rod was trying to run his scheme with Threet and Sheridan with a bunch of Lloyd leftovers at the skill positions

It's week 3 and there's literally been no other interesting matchups to watch. Get over yourselves.

Some gems in there
Whenever I see one of these games where Michigan draws like this, I have to admit I still get a little rage flashback at how the B1G treated Michigan last year over the "scandal".

Every one of these schools has gotten fat on the revenue from these games.
No surprise other than the outcome. ‍♂️
Do not underestimate the sports world’s excitement in seeing Michigan eviscerated.

Michigan vs Everybody.
It's true, everyone hates you.

And a good one.
Cheer up, Mrs. Lincoln. The play was well-attended.

A lot of complaining about having to share revenue with a conference that hates you for no reason. Excited for the raging and seething to continue.

It's not like it would also have a lasting impact on recruiting, technique and scheme moving forward. I think they should give it a shot.

They really think they have Tebow back there instead of a workout warrior whose highlights are 15 yard runs and roll out passes to wide open RBs.

Some of them acting like Orji is going to spice up the offense is hilarious. Guy is so bad he couldn’t beat out Warren in the first place. Not to mention them not having the personnel required to run the offense you’d have to shift to with him.
I’d say Orji as a running threat increases their chances of beating the bad teams on their schedule, while his passing drops their chances of beating elite teams to nearly zero, which is why they didn’t want to do it in the first place.

But now that it looks like they’re going to struggle against even the bad teams, they need to pull out all the stops even for that.
