I think so, too. I mean, at a university that refers to itself as "the Harvard of the Midwest", referring to Harvard's academic reputation and comparing to *ichigan's academic reputation, I'd think that the faculty who has built and maintained that reputation would look at the president as humiliating to them. "You allow cheating at the football level, which is a very public part of the university, while we're over here trying to keep students from cheating?"

I said the day he was announced, that I had no idea how he weaseled his way into the job and that he'd be in way over his head. My expectations weren't high, but even I couldn't have fathomed how much of a clown show he's become. Like I've said recently, it's beyond simply using football to build his personal popularity.
