Yoko finally gave Moore his contract, 9 months after being hired and only after it became a public relations and recruiting issue. And seriously, if our university President went around wearing a foosball jersey, I would be deeply ashamed and embarrassed. The look on Manuel's face is because he knows that eventually that left hand is going to have a knife in it. And Ono's smirk. He is so seriously punchable.

All of this leads directly to the university President's desk. A capable President who's not obsessed with hanging out with the football players could have been doing damage control, telling the hard truths to the Regents and boosters and making the necessary decisions over a year ago...if only for his own reputation and continued employment. That's why I think Ono is far worse than a poor man's Gordon Gee. There is something seriously emotionally wrong with him.

The University of Michigan will probably survive Santa Ono, but I'm not sure that the football program will.

Warde after it being exposed that his head coach has been under a MOA that is 4 months expired: These things take time, they can't be done in days.
Days later: The contract is signed.
I guess the USA Today piece just conveniently hit "days" after he said these things can't be done in days.

It seems as though you have an issue with Yoko. Based on performance thus far, at Cincy and the current stop, I’m a fuck’n fan. Lifetime contract should be in order.

The company line is that "Warde was just busy" seen a couple of responses from DFBIA like this

So I did see Warde point out that we were doing a basketball coaching search, dealing with the NCAA shit, and then our major clothing retailer was a mess and bailing on royalty checks. So it is just possible that there was a lot going on in the AD and it took a while to get things sorted out for the football coach; a lower priority having a MOU already signed?

If that was true, why lie about it all this time then?

They literally have high paid lawyers to make sure things like this don't get screwed up, but the dfbia will undoubtedly tell themselves that it was all Warde's fault and Ono came to the rescue. And of course, even if that preposterous line was true, Moore has lawyers who would have been asking the university where the fucking contract is.

LOL. Listen guys, we're a football school, so it makes sense that we put signing THE HEAD FOOTBALL COACH on the back burner while we dealt with......checks notes......clothing retailers.
