2024 College Football Playoffs Discussion (12 Team Format)

I'm already sick of this narrative. Boise State and Arizona State were two of those teams and ASU played well above expectations. Oregon went up against a team that was the best team in the country all along but just so happened to sleepwalk through the regular season. ND was ranked 5th in the final CFP rankings so them beating UGA with their back-up is hardly surprising. I give zero credence to bye weeks being the cause of these losses
And that the top four seeds were not the top four teams ....

Not only that but Beck wasn't some world beater. He was just as likely to lose them the game as he was to win it

SEC!

Tennessee gets pistol whipped by Ohio State
Tejas needs two overtimes to beat a double digit underdog
UGA gets soundly beat by the domers.

Tell me again how that conference deserved more teams, Kirk.
Legit argument that OSU goes undefeated with Georgia's schedule lmao.

Soft ass SEC teams couldn't hang with a brutal B1G schedule.

I get the BS of the narrative, but I don't have faith in them fixing the selection process with the bye. Just make it 16 teams based on ranking. If you really need the conference champs and they aren't top 16 put them in at 15 or 16. Hopefully, you don't end up with the best two teams playing in the second round. Oregon and GA were the only 2 of the top 4 that deserved it.
