Let this be the thread for all speculation surrounding Chris Holtmann's replacement. I'm sure we'll be flooded with names in the coming day.

I want to identify the traits the coach needs to have. First of all, has to be able to land pro prospects. Must be able to get players who can create their own shot and score in the clutch. Has to have shown he builds teams that can defend at the highest level. Has to be someone whose players actually listen to him & play hard. Must coach the fundamentals well. Which coach has all of these traits?

Yeah IDK about Lamonte Paris. Dude has a career sub-.500 coaching record & few achievements. Hiring the new hotness didn't turn out well in the long run with Holtmann. Maybe hire someone who has more of a track record of success. I think McDermott would make sense to be in the mix - he did decline last time, but it was bad timing trying to pry away a coach in the summer.
