I don’t see the downside for Petitti to go this far.
He‘ll look strong to the rest of the conference, and it’s all going to be appealed anyway.

Yep. Half measures will just enrage 13 (17?) schools to pander to one. It gets him nothing but a quick exit. If he really was putting out a trial balloon yesterday, I hope that it got smacked back into his face.

Unless there is a successful injunction prior to the game. At that point do they say that Michigan will forfeit all games he’s on the sidelines, or do they cancel their next game?

A 15 yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty to start the game followed by successive flags until he leaves the field.
