Even then it has to be something significant. A slap on the wrist will not suffice. The penalties have to match the crime or all Hell will break loose. The Commissioner would be wise to include the BIG compliance committee to assure the most severe penalties possible. Especially in light of the defiance and push back that is happening.

Prediction (unfortunately): The B1G...and the NCAA...will be full of sound and fury...signifying nothing. They'll both give fireball speeches using phrases like "integrity of the game" and equal playing field" and "athletic competition", and then follow that with a slap on the wrist so weak it doesn't even redden his lily white skin. The DFBIA arrogance explodes.

Yeah, he could easily lose the support of the majority of the B1G Presidents/ADs/Head Coaches on this. It will all come down to: Who is running the B1G, Tony Petini or Ono/Harbaugh? I think Petini definitely needs to come out of this showing he is "in charge of the B1G" and won't be "bullied" by any 1 school when they knowingly and even admitted to violating NCAA rules.

It's gotta be an indefinite suspension for Jimbo and let the NCAA investigation play out. From there you can create a timetable for a definite suspension/return based on the NCAA's findings. Anything less and others will be able to compare lengthier suspensions or firings over much less significant things than the level of integrity of the game that has been evident with tCun. The coordinators should probably be included as well or at least a suspension through the rest of the 2023 season in an attempt to regain any form of integrity over their remaining schedule.
