So, the Manifesto struck a chord with me tonight...

You're on to something good
But I can't believe it's all
That matters to you
A fool

Who never seems happy
When things are great
It's too late

Before you can think
The thought has entered your mind
And it will be back soon

Also, why does their Wolverine is a sailor hat log remind me of this?

Makes perfect sense when you remember they were all in on Jimmy being the savior back in '14.

People just use the term "all in" too loosely.

All in means you can't miss. And they've missed.

How does one stay rational in the face of that?

Right, it makes sense in that context but it also just seems stupid for an institution like Michigan -as much as I hate them - to go "all in" on a football coach. They went from a school that I hated but respected, to looking like just another sleazy SEC football factory with shitty academics and a (relatively) penny sized endowment.

If it is being heard by a judge who is a UM grad, there is no bar. That's being made perfectly clear right now. Anything that takes place in a Michigan court is going to be pro-Michigan football.

So, what can the B1G can do about it, if anything?
I'd like to think judges wouldn't throw away their rep to win points in foosball but the way their whole university acts says otherwise.

Their best bet would be to argue that it should be heard in Illinois cause the B1G is incorporated in Chicago I would figure

The amount of sympathy for these rats from the media and the platform given to their hypocritical, sanctimonious alumni by the media makes it feel like we're living in a timeline where evil wins out. Hard not to dissociate from college football in general after this sham of an investigation. Not to mention how infuriating it would be to know we would've actually fired our coach and still gotten raked through the coals by the same people defending scUM

Have we brought the corum/stalions vacuum cleaner thing to a conclusion yet?

Just asking

No and, among other things, the whole CMU investigation as well as Connor's claims about being close to Jay Harbaugh etc. will surely get clearer in the coming days and weeks. I fully expect Connor Thee Stallion to lawyer up and spill some beans once he realizes he's fucked with a felony charge or two.

that "anti football factory" thing at Michigan has always been bullshit, they operate mostly like everyone else, they've just not been in the spotlight enough in modern times for the focus to be on them hard enough for it to be exposed.
