Sooo when is the B1G actually capable of enforcing a punishment given this situation? Seems to me like Michigan can just keep delaying and delaying and denying and denying in their courts and nothing will happen until the NCAA comes in 6 months later and gives them the death penalty.

Someone tell me why I'm wrong
They have to win the injunction which is going to be hard even if they grant the temporary stay to begin with

By far the stupidest take of the night.

Correct so they’re going to grant the TRO

Harbaugh will be coaching tomorrow is the way I’m approaching it

Best case scenario:
Harbaugh coaches tomorrow, they lose to Penn State.
Harbaugh coaches next week, they lost to Maryland.
Harbaugh coaches in The Gam, and they lose to the good guys.

After that, he leaves to go to the NFL, but no one in the NFL takes him.
He tries to go back to college, but the NCAA has put a 5-year show cause on him.
He tries to become a sportscaster, but no one wants him.
In 8 years, we see him coaching in C-USA and he's finding same old stuff to cry about, going 5-7 pretty regularly.

This is the most obviously forced "look at us we are the poor victim here" shit ever

Just catching up on the news...I just can't wrap my head around how incredibly stupid these bozos are, filing a TRO and entering into a legal fight with the conference over Simple Jim. I'm trying to think logically and, if their end game does not involve leaving the conference, they are colossal idiots. The Ivy League of the Midwest™ produces arrogant knuckleheads, whowouldathought?

When was the last time a member institution got into a legal battle with the conference, let alone in a time when there are $Billions in both academic and football dollars on the line? Have they really convinced themselves that they will get a better deal elsewhere or on their own? Or are they so desperate that they think this is their only chance in a lifetime for a football championship and are willing to burn it all down?

Are there no adults in Ann Arbor?

PS: The B1G letter was an absolute gem - picked apart every element of their pathetic defense perfectly just like McCord and Marv are going to do in three weeks in Ann Arbor.

Winning the injunction is a far higher bar than I will put a stay on this to hear the case.
If it is being heard by a judge who is a UM grad, there is no bar. That's being made perfectly clear right now. Anything that takes place in a Michigan court is going to be pro-Michigan football.

So, what can the B1G can do about it, if anything?

Makes perfect sense when you remember they were all in on Jimmy being the savior back in '14.

People just use the term "all in" too loosely.

All in means you can't miss. And they've missed.

How does one stay rational in the face of that?
