Rick Neuheisel was just on Dan Patrick. Told a couple of stories about when he was at UCLA and Harbaugh was at Stanford. First on was when Pete Carroll at USC had a large enough budget to have PAC10 officials at practice every day. Harbaugh and Stanford only had enough of a budget to have them a few times. Harbaugh went to the league coaches meetings, and demanded some rules to be changed because it gave USC an unfair advantage due to all of the relationships that Carroll will build with the officials. Harbaugh ranted for a while and eventually Carroll raised his hand and said "We were the most penalized team in the conference......" He said the room burst out in laughter, after which Harbaugh responded with an angry "It's the principal of it!!"

The other one was when Harbaugh called him accusing him of cheating about calling a recruit who was committed to Stanford as a walkon. The recruit called Neuheisel at UCLA inquiring about a scholarship. Harbaugh called Neuheisel furious and accused him of cheating. Neuheisel had to explain to him that the recruit had called him and not the other way around.

I caught that one this morning as well, great listen.

I agree with Finkes. CS is gone now but he had already done weeks of work.

This exactly. They weren't scouting for the meaningless games they've already played. They were preparing this part of their schedule.

As it relates to sports, this is criminal
That’s why 2021 was ok and then it went to the next level in 2022 and then another level this year.

They probably have what 15+ games of Ohio State and Penn State?

It’s baked into the cake now

Bundling the MSU and Purdue games is disingenuous at best. Of course you beat msu by that margin, they suck

But you did not cover the spread against Purdue. And it’s not just that. It’s the way you failed to cover

It was TCUN’s 2nd quarter performance that has been suspicious this year, but against PU their 2nd quarter fell off the table from their first quarter.

I could go on but I’m trying to get out the door

The point is, neither Finkes nor we should be s quick to assume that the CUNTS can still execute on the stolen signals the way they did. They know they’re being watched, and executing on those stolen signals without being caught doing it would be very very hard. Most importantly, the Purdue game provided evidence that they are not executing on the stolen signals to near the level that they had been. The buckeyes beat Purdue in W.Laf worse the the CUNTS beat them in the big hole

I think there’s a very good chance they fall back to earth very hard on Saturday

I think there’s good chances Penn State plays them hard too.

It’s tough to play in happy Valley, Penn State has a really good defense, and the quarterback has the tools. Penn State just has to make some plays down field to win the game because they aren’t going to be able to sustain drives all game long.
