It wasn’t the tattoos. It was Tress lying about them. But the point of what was dished out for lying to protect players he needed to win is valid. 2011 proved why he was motivated to give them cover.

I think the bigger point is that Ohio State cooperated with the NCAA and still lost players for big chucks of the 2011 season and then had victories invalidated. Michigan should receive equal penalties at the least.

Apparently Harbaughs attorney ol Tom cheated the system get ahead:
