The whole argument that the TCUN is making to the B1G, warning that punishing them would create a precedent because everybody does it, is ridiculous. The B1G should make a precedent by punishing TCUN, so no other school in the B1G, including TCUN, should be so emboldened as to go to the lengths and degrees that TCUN have. This is the time to make precedent.

Funny time to bring this up for the first time ever. Michigan and everyone associated with them are really proving to the world they’re the biggest cry baby bitches you could possibly imagine.

But whatabout this and that and them and those guys and this thing too. YOU FUCKING CHEATED AND GOT CAUGHT. GET FUCKED.

You just have to tip your cap to U of M, 11 members of Michigans state legislature, Santa Ono, the Board of Reagents, and the apparent three different law firms involved between Michigan and Harbaugh personally, that they’ve crafted 18 pages of rebuttal that amounts to the Chewbacca Defense from South Park.

Nowhere in these 10+8 pages (allegedly) that I’ve read was ever written the sentence(s), ‘We didn’t do that,’ or, ‘These allegations are false.’

If I'm Pettiti - first year on the job - and these arrogant fucks try to threaten and bully me, I'm coming down hard to send a message.

Go ahead, file whatever you like. We have attorneys, too. You're not in charge of this conference, nor are you bigger than it.
It’s the exact same thing as when people freak out about free speech when someone gets fired from a company. “Due process” (and the rest of the bill of rights) is the rule of law when you are being prosecuted by the government.

You are being punished by the organization you voluntarily chose to be a part of and agreed to abide by its rules, which lays out very specifically the rules that are being followed in this case—and the conference hired outside council three weeks ago to make sure they were doing that.

Ultimately, it comes down 100% to them either agreeing to follow the rules and punishment they signed up for or leaving the conference.

And, credit to them for being consistent for over a century, they left the conference once before for being cheating fucks and refusing to stop.
