I may be wrong, but if he didn't file a K1 with his personal taxes, wouldn't the IRS kick the return back as incomplete? They know he has business even if Corum doesnt.....so at the very minimum he would have found out april 15th he in fact was in business with CS.

Between the accusations of hacking their computers, hiring private investigators and now sharing signs with Purdue all turning out to be false, I sure hope Day hangs 100 on these arrogant cunts. The man and his family got death threats because of their lies - he better show them where they belong. If that means we eke out uninspiring wins the next couple of weeks so be it.

I don’t think they would catch something that proactively. It isn’t their job to tell you you filed your taxes wrong.

One of the CPA types would know better than me but the bigger point is that someone is going to get busted or is lying. There is no way to fuck around here.

Not immediately. The IRS matching systems generally runs about 12-18 months behind the due date of the return. The automatically generated notices (that are most of what the IRS sends) going out now and in the recent past are for 2021 returns. So, if there was a 2021 K-1 issued in his name and SSN AND the computer snagged it AND the omission was material, any notice would be very recent or coming soon.

I don’t remember when that LLC was registered — if it was last spring, then it’s probably 8-12 months before a notice might even be generated.
