And it doesn't even matter if McCarthy knew what was going on or not; the scUM coaching staff knew which includes the guy calling the offensive plays. It's a lot easier to throw a completion if you know the defense/coverage/pass rush/blitzing, etc. before the actual play. His chances of winning the Heisman just went to zero.
