I think it’s more of knowing what Tennessee was doing on offense.

The SC defense for the first time all year was wearing wrist bands with audibles etc
I think you’re right. However, that doesn’t explain South Carolina putting up 63 points the week after they put up 6 (which came
On a fake punt attempt).

If true, yes they had an unfair advantage. But Vol fans just need to accept that their defense shit the bed.

Only way to make it completely fair is suspend HC OC DC and any staffers with a sheet. Maybe do something silly like your OC and DC must be in booth and a B1G sanctioned person gets to listen in. No none coaches on the sidelines.

But I seriously doubt they go to that extent

Agree I think suspending any coach who is clearly involved, even though the players are in the loop too, throws the whole operation off. Also scUM won’t be able to mine any further data once teams changes things up, well I suppose they could try…..but are they that stupid?

Yes they are and I’d argue they have maybe 20+ games of signals of ours?

That’s why little by little every time they play a big ten school it gets worse and worse for the opposing team.

I don’t think it matters what we do. They’ll have a general idea of what we are doing unless all their coaches are out and the NCAA screens them for material pre game.

My wishlist, firm but fair:

Forfeit all games in 2021-2023.

TTUN is done for the year.

5 year show cause for all coaches. Individuals may appeal and have a hearing after the cfb season is over.

TSUN must compensate opponents in all remaining scheduled away games for lost revenues. Amounts to be determined by the conference.

Loss of 5 scholarships every year for 5 years.

5 year post season ban.

Waive any restrictions for current players to transfer out.

Oh yeah, Fuck Michigan.

My wish list has always involved blindfolds, cigarettes and a lot of people lined up along a wall.

This latest detail has no real impact on it. None ever will.

Any NCAA charges have a 90-day timeframe for a school to respond, so even NCAA charges brought tomorrow would have the college playoff finished before TTUN would need to respond to them.

I stated this morning that the solution is for the B1G to notify TTUN in the near future that they have forfeited the 4 conference games they played this season prior to Sparty. The 4 losses would prevent them from reaching the B1G CCG, and presumably the CFP Committee would not rank TTUN anywhere near the top 4. So they wouldn’t be able to win anything meaningful that very likely would be stripped from them later.

The remaining games could still be played, and the TV ratings will still be solid, due to the amount of publicity, the curiosity aspect of how good will they be without the stolen signals, and the anticipation of watching the holier-than-thou Vulvarines be defeated by Penn State and tOSU and get their comeuppance on the field.

I’m glad that new B1G Commissioner Petitti is the guy that can make this decision after consulting with the ADs and the school Presidents/Chancellors. I think Kevin Warren would spend a lot of time talking about nothing and then do very little.

What happens for the 2021 and 2022 seasons can wait until the NCAA finishes their process. It doesn’t matter that much to me when the coaching staff members receive their penalties.

Point to remember: Prior to being named the B1Gs 7th Commish, Petitti was Rob Manfred’s enforcer that hit the Astros with a max fine of $5 million and forfeiture of their 1st and 2nd round picks in the next two drafts, and that penalty came without even having a smoking gun despite offering all the Astros players immunity.

Tony Petitti is a mob boss on whacking perceived cheaters to protect the integrity of the on field product.

Question: thoughts on the NCAA interview and the coaching staff's willingness to keep the story to blaming Stallion as a rogue member and plead ignorance or having the gumption to actually tell the truth. Do you think all the coaches are willing to tow the line for Hairball?

They may let everybody lie, then flip one or two people later.

NCAA has a rule. No such thing as plausible deniability. It’s assumed the coach knew.

They have no choice.

They can’t cooperate or they’ll never coach major football again.

I don’t really think it matters what they say though because there’s hard evidence from what’s been reported.

So they’ll do their due diligence and see if someone will dime but I fully expect all of them to blame Porn name staffer.

They’re all going to blame this kid. I wish the kid would realize that too because he should take them all down. However he seems dum enough to take all the blame.

Again it won’t matter though they have proof more people knew other than just this one guy.

If every single coach in the Big Ten knew Michigan had become exceptional at stealing signs in 2021, regardless not knowing how deep the advance scouting operation went with Stalions, I just find it hard to believe Jim Harbaugh was the ONLY coach in the conference ignorant to these rumors for 25 months.

Locksley or Franklin or Schiano would’ve yelled some bullshit postgame. Those are guys that wouldn’t bite their tongues if they KNEW.
