Yep. This cuts right to the integrity of the games and the Vegas lines. Simple Jim's apologists in the dfbia and media can spin all they want. I have to believe that the scope of what's involved here is being taken very seriously by the ncaa, B1G and Vegas.

Tressel lying to keep his stars eligible definitely gave an advantage, but it was an indirect one. Those players still had to go out and win a fair game. What Simple Jim has been doing is cheating to get a direct advantage over the outcome of the games. Essentially, to make the games unfair on a core level.

Right, while having Pryor play might be unfair for the opponent (if would otherwise been suspended), it wasn't unfair to bettors as his presence was priced in. If odds Makers are unaware of an illegal advantage a team might have... on the other hand...

Take that a step farther, why don't teams just yell out the plays to the QB on the field? It's of no discernable advantage for the other team to know the play ahead of time.
