This isn't some recruiting malfeasance. This is directly and illegally scouting opponents and applying the gathered intel to in-game situations. This is a direct impact on the outcome of games. "Competitive advantage" is not a term thrown around loosely. Warning future opponents is not action taken for minor violations. If the conference and ncaa have the smoking gun, and it sure sounds like they do, they're coming down hard and making an example of these silly, treacherous fucks.I know people don't have much faith in the NCAA handling things correctly but think of how many other institutions are potentially effected and pissed about this. BIG execs, BIG schools, TV networks, Vegas, IRS, even UM AD, pres and board etc... They're getting the hammer dropped on them.
