2023 NCAA Tournament and Bracket Discussion

I wonder how the city of Houston feels about this final four? No Texas teams and no bluebloods with huge fan bases.

Interesting thing about Miami is 3 of their top 4 players are transfers. Miller from George Mason, Pack from Kansas St and Omier from Arkansas St.
SDSU is actually even more transfer-heavy, with 4 of their top-5 scorers having played elsewhere in college - although they have a few 5th-year Aztecs in the rotation as well. UConn has only one of their top-6 scorers being a transfer, and just 2 of FAU's top-8.

Texas had four senior transfers that were in college for at least 5 years among their top-6.

I was going to ask. How do people actually feel about this tournament and Final Four?

I love to hate on the bluebloods as much as anybody but it does feel lacking. And I think as wide open and unpredictable as this was- it really shows that March Madness does not crown the best team in the country all the time (or even most of the time?).

I think most people knew that but it is really driven home when you look at what made the final group. Upsets are fun but I like sports to feel like they crown worthy champions.

UConn definitely has an argument for being the best, but them beating SDSU or FAU in a championship game? Bleh.

Sort of like watching the WGC this week. Anybody can have a bad/good day or round. No one is pegging Sam Burns as the best player in the world.
