So Cleveland Plain Dealer runs a poll for and found that Ohio State is favored to win the east and win the conference championship. No surprise, but the *ichigan fans are pretty grumpy.

A lot of complaints. "Wah! We beat them last year - we don't get any respect!"
But I found this part funny:

Screw Indiana!

This play directly affected Chase's ability in The Game the next week.

“So when I was on the ground, I was getting up a little slow,” Winovich said. “I was laughing in my head, going: ‘Holy heck, that was a good hit!’ because I didn’t see him coming from the side. When I was headfirst in the ground, he had jumped on my back and it did like a cracking (noise).

“That’s all I heard. My back started spasming and locked up. If you could have seen my face, I was kinda like – in pain. I was immobilized for my back, but that settled down. That’s why I was able to walk off the field. They were worried it might have been my spine. Came back and my spine was good. Thank you to whoever helped me dodge those bullets upstairs!

“Essentially it was a back injury – a musculature back injury. It came back, definitely, in the Ohio State game. But it’s football. You have to deal with injuries all the time. You gotta sometimes strap your boots up and get to work. So that’s what we did.”

I will never forgive them.

I guess Chase Winovich would have accounted for about 23 points? Without a back injury, is he out there covering Olave, or recovering blocked punts? Is he chasing down Paris Campbell from behind?

"Ohio State is the new Texas Tech" is my favorite comment

They also can't seem to grasp that preseason projection can occasionally be wrong, lot's of "THESE SAME PEOPLE HAD US 3RD/4TH IN THE DIVISION LAST YEAR!" comments. Once again DFBIA continues to confuse 1 season out of 7 of somewhat success as a trend rather than a outlier.

They also had "proven strategies" in 2003 and 2011. How'd that work out for them?

The only "strategy" really is hope they catch Ohio State on a bad day in a funky year (2003 and 2021 were good, not great teams that each had their share of problems)

2011. Bragging about beating the worst Ohio State team of the new millennium, barely beating. Classic DFBIA.

Instead of getting hard and training for a difficult season, these soft bitches are at a lakeside resort singing songs on a balcony and sucking each other's dicks about last year. This is a perfect set up for a Shakespearean fall from grace, though I'm not going to call if a fuckin' tragedy.

Bleh. *ichigan nerds think they're super awesome and we would all wish we were in their shoes. The comments are funny. Not a lot of WOW! comments, but this one is good:
Have been saying what Eisen just said for decades. I just don't have a radio/podcast show. M is the biggest game for EVERY B1G team each year. That is the game each team circles as their crown jewel if they can win it. Which means we get every teams best shot. Every. Year. Since I have been watching M football (76?). Of course they'd love to beat Ohio, but it just doesn't mean as much. And this fact drives Buckeye fans nuttier than they already were at birth.

Since the playoffs started, Ohio State has lost five games to Big Ten opponents. *ichigan has lost more than I know off the bat. Let's see.. 5, 2, 2, 4, 1, 3, 4 (should have been more), and 1. Check my math, but I get 22 losses to Big Ten teams.
2014 - Minnesota, Rutgers, Sparty, Maryland, Ohio State
2015 - Sparty, Ohio State
2016 - Iowa, Ohio State
2017 - Sparty, Penn State, Wisconsin, Ohio State
2018 - Ohio State
2019 - Wisconsin, Penn State, Ohio State
2020 - Sparty, Indiana, Wisconsin, Penn State (plus, they gave up before playing Maryland, Ohio State, and Iowa)
2021 - Sparty

The bolded teams are the teams that did not beat Ohio State in that time frame.
I'm pretty sure that if Indiana beat you, or Rutgers or Minnesota or Maryland beat you, the only way you're the biggest game for anyone is if Ohio State isn't on their schedule. Maybe Sparty and Penn State, too.

"Sanctimonious, Stubbornness, Stupidity" When he said that I thought he was reciting the mantra that everyone associated in any way with tsun lives by.
I did make it to about the 10 minute mark when he talked about taxes being the primary reason high net worth people give. I spent 35 years in the not-for-profit world. People utilize and maximize tax breaks to give, but that is not their motivation to give.

They probably went to Bronner's Christmas store to sit on Santa's lap and ask for a winning season.

PS That town is a waste of time. Unless you like Bavarian-themed tourist traps. It's in the middle of nothing.
