I took a read of GoBlow earlier, lots of claims that they have TWO STUD QBs
Anyone watching McNamara and seriously claiming he is anywhere near elite is complete comedy. Guy barely passed 2500 yards last year with 15 TDs and 6 INTs. He's about the definition of nothing more than a game manager. He didn't turn the ball over a lot, but he wasn't really given much of a chance to. Captain handoff.
The biggest 3 games last year at the end of the year, He was, Shaky against Ohio State (yea they won but it was not because of him, not even close) Shaky against Iowa (same as the Ohio State game) and terrible against Georgia.
For McCarthy, Outside of one decent garbage time performance against Maryland (5/5 58 Yards TD) he didnt really show anything special. The 2 games later in the season he saw extended time in, that you could say werent exactly "just garbage time" he was pretty bad (Indiana and UGA)

Defenses are likely going to completely sell out on the run and make scUM beat them throwing the ball this season. McNamara nor McCarthy have really proven they can do it. Theres no reason to not constantly load the box and make them try to do it.
They will probably still be a good running team, but losing their battering ram Haskins is going to hurt more than they want to admit.
Lets see how Corum handles a full load without a sidekick to do the dirty work.

Simple Jim is...well...Simple. Like a sex nuts and retard strong 15,year old, he is going to be ridiculously stubborn. Last year, he snuck up on people with that throwback Single Wing offense while having the defense to cover his ass. Next year, he won't have the defense while other defensive coordinators will be ready for that offense. I'm calling my shot right here: 5 losses (including one to Schiano and Rutgers) , 4th in the division and turned out like a crack whore in The Game. Simple Jim found his baseball last year, but it won't happen again.
