2022 Rose Bowl, tOSU vs Utah, Jan 1st @ 5pm EST, ESPN

This is the least stressed I've ever been about an ohio state game. I'm honestly shocked its this close.
Yeah honestly I’m not even worried about the defense. I feel like that shit is getting overhauled next year. Right now I’m mostly focusing on the offense which I’m really pleased with so far. I was under the impression Utah had a great defense and Buckeyes are shredding them. Keep doing that in the second half and I’ll be alright. Defense is what it is at this point.

Defense should absolutely feel embarrassed by that performance. Take some pride in what you do. You’re supposed to represent the Silver Bullets. Be honored to suit up for Ohio State and respect the history of the program and tradition of the Rose Bowl.

You earned a spot on an elite football team. Go out and prove it in the second half.

We can talk about coaching all we want, but at the end of the day, big time players make big time plays when it matters. Well, it matters now. Every play counts from here on out. That forced fumble or stepping in front of a pass for the pick six could be the difference at this point. Those efforts are in your hands, not the coaches.

Yup - I'm to the acceptance phase too. I am somewhat skeptical it gets fixed in one year but we'll see.

What is disappointing is that an all-timer of an offense has been wasted on a defense that would and has struggled against even mediocre offenses. I think there's a talent gap - not that they are necessarily bad, more like a gap on fit - and I think it'll take 2 or 3 recruiting classes to really fix the fit.
