This is what infuriates me about this sport. That goon went in knowing he could get away with 1 cheap shot before he got a card. Then he takes the card. Now he knows the ref will be hesitant to give him a second. How does he know all of this? Because soccer reffing is pathetic. They always behave as if the players have never been told the rules, and it's the ref's job to calmly explain it to them.
