2022/23 Bowl Game Discussion Thread

All of my fretting aside, I'm thrilled with that first half. I really thought TCU was a Big 12 sacrificial lamb served up to ttun on a platter. They characteristically peed down their leg in the first half. Just hope it continues. They've been a second half team this year.
If USC had won the P12 & Michigan's steady but gettable secondary got housed by Caleb Williams' ridiculous talent and Riley's schemes, it would be hard to swallow but more about Caleb's greatness than Michigan's failures.

Even if Max had been playing brilliant football all game and keeping pace, they could give him credit. But he's just been more crafty than brilliant.

No replay whining is going to properly cover for the awareness of how massively they've given this thing away to a feisty but not great TCU team.

TCU needs 1 score in the third quarter to prevent TTUN from being able to wear them down with their ground game. If they need 3 TDs to win the game, they’ll have to pass more than they want to.

No better time to do it than the opening possession. Get it to 28-6 before TTUN gets the ball. If Jimmy wants to run then, let him.

Halftime update from college football hell:

Worst gameplan I have ever seen in my life, Harbaugh has lost his mind, JJ having "that game," refs terrible, THIS was the game we NEEDED Blake and what Edwards does wouldn't replace it, turning the ball over religiously, keep falling down, probably should be losing by more...

No seriously tho; you seen a counter? Even one? A trap? We're literally just running straight into their run fits. There is a major f*cking problem when Sam Webb and the guys at Mgoblog would be calling a better gameplan in a college football playoff game ffs.

*incoherent screaming*

Could've done with some better clock management late in the half, but I would've taken TCU up 15 at halftime 2 hours ago.
Should be 24 - 3 TCU. They ran for 12, then another run for 7 on the next play... then long pass, incomplete of course, then sack. Forget you're a Big 12 team, TCU and instead play reasonably intelligent these next 2 quarters and you'll wind up in the championship.
