The interpretation of targeting by referees continues to be the biggest joke in College Football. His reasoning for not calling it was because the receiver wasn’t defenseless, and the defender didn’t use the crown of his helmet. Yet the defender lowers his helmet, and makes FORCIBLE contact to another player’s helmet. Seemed like a textbook call, and the refs failed. Again.
