I said it over a month ago - I thought Thornton had that dog in him, it was just a matter of having it emerge.
Maybe it has....time will tell.

Just can't take it anymore. My miserable breakdown:
Lost their heart and soul in Zed Key who wasn't setting the world on fire but was best experienced player.
They stop aggressiveness and look for help too much leaving the ball in bad positions. Shy away from contact every time.
Sueing plays too much, especially when he's not playing well, while other guys finally get their shot going only to be subbed out.
Okpara should have been getting more minutes from the very beginning especially since we refuse to play zone with size disadvantages. *Over 10 minutes on the bench while our lead slipped away today alone.
Mentally soft which is weird since they were super tough and even clutch to start the season. Continually make some of the dumbest mistakes.
Spacing always loses integrity on both ends.
Communication is abysmal. No vocal leadership
Add that all up = shitty basketball team.
If not for the resurgence of Thornton and Okparas growth and potential, there wouldn't be any positives to write home about and they might even win today!

Sensabaugh makes you shake your head for one thing, and then makes you shake it again for another! He goes from "bench his ass! He's a ball hog" to, "holy shit, that was awesome" in 60 seconds

Zed was averaging 13 points, 8 rebounds, and shooting over 60% before his injury. Those numbers all went into the toilet as he tried to play through it, along with the Buckeyes season.
It's easy to forget how this team looked 2 months ago, but with so many new faces a healthy Zed was key (pardon the pun). At least they're ending the losing streak today.

Well kiss my bender we won. Finally 2 halves of decent ball with periods of great in there.
Obviously everything isnt fixed but maybe some of the mental trash can trend the other way.
Shot terrible from 3 again, why no Holden? Dude must've got Holtmanns daughter pregnant or something.
The Defense has been better but Sueing and McNeil need to play a lot better hopefully shots will fall. Late in the game Sueing was picking it up at least
If Roddy would be as aggressive on the offensive end as he is on Defense, he'll start to emerge big time.
