And here we go. The meltdown. The give up.
12-0 run to end the half for Iowa to lead 47-36.
Bucks have yet to win a game when trailing at HT.
Ha, yeah. It wasn’t even close.I have a feeling I won’t see the Bucks lead again after 36-35 (and Sensabaugh fumbled a layup to make it 38-35).
Ouch

Because Okpara spoke his mind to the press a few days ago? I didn't notice him in the game for a even a second (correct me if I'm wrong) until Key's injury. He should have got *more* playing time after speaking the truth, but it seemed to me our deranged HC decided he needed to go stand in a corner. Holtmann is becoming annoying.Just turned on the game after watching volleyball to see Key doubling over and going to the ground 3 times in a few minutes. Why the fuck did the coaches even let him stay on the court for that long tonight?

For one thing, keeping Key in game after game for pretty much his regular minutes while clearly destroying his shoulder, and consistently getting little production from him in the midst of an historic losing streak seems deranged to me. Definition of trying the same thing over and over and over and expecting a different result.Okpara picked up his first foul less than 8 minutes into the game, so no. Key aggravated his shoulder several minutes later.
There are enough real criticisms of Holtmann to go around without projecting things on to him. Calling him "deranged" is a bit much. He just doesn't have any answers for this team, which is getting progressively worse.

I've been watching Dayton most of the year, luckily they've been on out here in the west for some reason. Fun team to watch and now they're healthy. About the only saving grace, any more I just check the OSU game assuming they lost before I even start the recording to save myself the time and frustration. I'll flip it back on next season. At least YSU has a pretty good (and fun) team this year.
