2022/2023 Heisman Trophy Discussion Thread

I thought Penix might've regained frontrunner odds. Daniels would be my choice regardless
I think Pennix/Nix are going to split a lot of West Coast votes. I’m not sold on Daniels because there are old school/hardline voters that will not consider him, and about 2/3rds of the country probably haven’t watched him play since October. It’ll be interesting because the Big Ten markets had no viable candidates other than JJ and Marvin. JJ fell off with the injury at the end of the year, and Marvin probably won’t get many, if any, first place votes, but he could wrack up a TON of second place votes from all over the country. On that note though, Big Ten markets are familiar with Pennix’s heroics since that IU upset at Penn St four years ago.

This is legitimately one of the most wide open races with as many as five or six guys I’ve seen in my lifetime.
