True, however, usually you don't see everyone taking losses this early and a few of the supposed favorites are taking bad losses too.

Handily. That's two losses by more than 15 points for Gonzaga. Not sure they're quite up to recent standards, although they'll roll through their conference to a high seed.

I actually now have a small rooting interest in SMC. A friend of a friend is a recent graduate of the school who is now a Monday qualifier on the KornFerry tour (golf).

Speaking of monstrosities, they have a 7'4" one in the paint. He's a problem. Somehow EJ was able to freak that dude out but we don't have him anymore. It's frightening this year

North Carolina goes down again....they shot slightly better from 3...at 7-23 for 30.4%....the problem is I'm pretty sure at one point or another they were 7 for around 18....Caleb Love went 3 for 11 from 3 (and 13 for 36 overall)....

Florida State is now 1-7 after getting smacked by Nebraska last night. They were picked 5th in the ACC in the preseason. Very very down year for the ACC, lots of mediocre and straight up bad teams.

In football too but yes, this has been a bizarre start to the basketball season. Who could have seen Villanova start 2-5? The one and done system is starting to catch up to the NCAA. Gone are the days where you would see a strong recruiting c lass stick around 3-4 years at least. Also, the new transfer rule has changed the game.

This is the day the B1G needs to pile up wins in order to prevail in the Challenge. I think the B1G should win the final ACC challenge. May come down to OSU needing to win tomorrow.
