Seriously how the hell did these guys get good this year? They should have legitimately been undefeated but for choking the MSU game away - clearly the better team. I assumed this would be another bad year for Jimmeh with undersized, under-talented and low level QB roster.

Did they just take advantage of a bunch of super seniors that beat up bad teams? That was a tough group yesterday. Prefer they go back to bad asap.

A huge part of it is Harbaugh’s brother bailing his ass out by gifting him a highly competent up-and-coming d-coordinator no one else knew about yet.

May we make a similar defensive staff hire this off season.

The answers are yes and yes.

Add it to some soft lack of physicality and there you go.

BoogerEater is an idiot but he's a stubborn idiot. He ran his system until it worked. It just so happened that this year, Ohio State either didn't adjust to it (refused) or couldn't. Whatever the issue, it MUST be fixed or else we're going to see repeated of this next season from every team that could potentially pull it off.

They also literally quit instead of taking their ass beating on the road last year, and got gifted a second straight home game in the snow, the perfect weather for said system.

two things that i can't get out of my head...
1. we knew that our d was a question mark, so them putting up 42 points is not as big a surprise - our performance against sparty's running game notwithstanding - as our offense only managing to put up 27.
2. maybe the silver lining here is that they keep harbaugh around and we get to run off another decade of wins on his ass

Too much emphasis on sticking with the run game and huge underperformance by the OL. Stroud did all he could, but he wasn't going to win it on his own.
