2015: Ohio State 42, scUM 13
2016: Ohio State 30, scUM 27 (2 OT)
2017: Ohio State 31, scUM 20
2018: Ohio State 62, scUM 39
2019: Ohio State 56, scUM 27
2020: scUM chickened out

So being "close" means a three-point loss in double overtime, and four blowout losses by an average of 23 points. Sounds like an excerpt from a MAC school "moral victory" thread.
I believe this belongs in the “Horseshoes and hand grenades” thread.

"Ohio State QBs have 11 games of experience minimum" is a fresh new excuse for why they cant win The Game.

Is Jimmy just stupid or is he hinting that 11 weeks with Harbaugh ruins a QB?

Playing OSU the last game if the year is a huge disadvantage. It means they always have a QB with 11 games of experience at a minimum. CJ Stroud is supposedly tearing it up for them, I have no doubt he'll be rolling by the time he comes into the Big House.

At least one has became self aware, kind of.

I've been watching.

I just don't understand the notion because QBs are developed at OSU and not at Michigan how that's an "advantage" for OSU.

This fanbase is full of insular idiots.

"we had an injured QB, and there was questionable refereeing."
"In 2017 we were down to our 3rd choice QB due to injury."
"In 2018 everyone thought we had the better team but Haskins and Day figured out the best way to take advantage of the weakest spots on D."
"And even 2019 had some weird things - a first-quarter fumble from Dobbins bounces back up into his lap, while a bad snap for us gets dropped by Patterson and recovered by OSU."

Yep, bad shit only happens to Michigan - except 2006 when Doug Datish played with a broken hand and fucked up two snaps that cost the Buckeyes, except that time the Buckeyes had to insert Cardale for JT in the 4th quarter in 2014, like Haskins replacing JT in the 4thin 2015, like 2017 when McCall muffs a kickoff that allows Michigan to tie the game just before half, oh, and how about 2011 when the Bucks had to play Shazier with a bum leg in the 2nd half and still had a shot to take the lead with late in the 4th when Braxton just missed a wide-open Devire Posey - a year when an interim coach led the team, a year the starting QB had to be replaced by a freshman, the top running back was suspended for a large chunk of the season, and when Posey was suspended until the final two weeks of the season, and then there all the times the Buckeye's didn't get the calls in The Game - but, yeah, bad shit only happens to Michigan.

Their apparently sincere belief that they have a chance with Walter Nolen is baffling. I’ve said previously, their whining about bagmen would be slightly more believable if they (or their “insiders”) were smart enough to identify the issue ahead of time. But alas, in true DFBIA fashion, their expectations are off the charts stupid and they have no way to identify where they actually have a legitimate chance at a recruit and get burned by the shady side of recruiting.

Let's not forget that OT loss came against an Ohio State team that played absolutely awful football offensively for 3.5 quarters. They were literally trying to hand those losers the game and they still couldn't get a win.

Never mind that the OSU kicker missed two field goals that I could have made.
Okay, that's not fair. I probably wouldn't have made them, either. But those field goals should have been automatic for any top 25 team in the country.

They keep hilariously whiffing on DT transfers

Tony Fair from UAB they had high hopes on didnt even include them in his final 3

They seem REALLY desperate for one though as they've now moved on to targeting this guy

The oft-injured career of defensive tackle Jordan Whittley has come to an end at Oregon State.

The seventh-year defensive tackle announced on social media that he plans to put his name in the NCAA transfer portal. Whittley is a graduate transfer with one year of eligibility remaining.

Whittley’s weight significantly ballooned over the past two years. He didn’t practice during the 2020 season.

Particularly hilarious that the author of that posts uses a fucking picture of him practicing against his own team to show that he "attracts double teams"
