So Harbaugh has to sell himself after taking a pay cut for performance.
I’m happy with this outcome. Glad to keep the devil I know.

Looks like this dude's only prior college coaching experience before landing in Baltimore was as a GA/defensive QC guy at Georgia.
Or has an assistant he needs to dump and is pushing him onto his loser brother. So his brother who actually knows how to coach needs to throw him a bone.
He seems so beaten down. I just hate to see it. Of course once they move on from harbaugh the next guy will immediately be the new savior who will set right all things *ichigan. Even hoke got the full savior treatment.I mean, I guess it matters at the margins. But the situation here is that Michigan went 2-4 with a humiliating loss to a year zero MSU program. OSU is one of the three perennial playoff participants. Harbaugh has been looking for an NFL exit that does not exist and is being roped into signing a contract that makes him easy to fire. The defensive coordinator who's able to come in and wave his magic wand to make next year's OSU game competitive does not exist, and even if he did he would not come to the least stable situation in the Power 5. And if next year's OSU game is not competitive Harbaugh is gone.
You can ask why the administration is looking these facts in the face and not pulling the trigger. I am certainly baffled. But the identity of the defensive coordinator is not worth getting bothered about. Eat at Arby's.

Ravens defensive coaches have failed elsewhere for pretty much their entire existence and the linebackers are pretty clearly the worst unit on the defense this year. As a Ravens fan this does nothing for me and given we also have no idea if he can recruit at all its just a shot and a prayer, not a good hire.

Past results are no guarantee of future performance. Not all OSU QBs will suck in the NFL and not all Ravens coaches will work out poorly in college. Evaluate the person without irrelevant bias.

So a guy who's been the linebackers coach for an NFL team that's gone 10-6, 14-2, and 11-5, won two division titles, and has been among the league leaders in fewest points allowed is a terrible coach. Got it.
