Yup maybe it was our conference tournament that did almost all of the Big Ten teams in. I thought the PAC-12 was supposed to be craps this season. I did not see many of their games because I am not a night owl but if Oregon is any indication of good these teams are then a lot of people had no idea what they were talking about. The PAC-12 might have three teams in the Sweet 16.

Could be just a case of the B1G sniffing their own farts. Feels like the B1G always does the most damage when they’re kind of underrated.

Slow, plodding, 2 points at a time and missing outside shots when it matters. Rinse and repeat this league.

All these other teams pass and move the ball. Oregon’s passing is awesome, the ball moves for open shots. The basketball knows- move it around and the energy turns- plus ball movement leads to open, set rhythm jumpers and high percentage shots.

Weird thing about March Madness is it can make good teams look bad. Happens a lot.

College basketball is just one of those things where the much larger sample size of the regular season barely matters as long as it gets you in the field of 68. Of course the larger sample size is still a much sounder way to try to judge the quality of teams. But perception wise, it's all about what happens in a single elimination tourney with a huge field in a sport with extreme parity.

A team like Oral Roberts wouldn't have even made the Dance if they played in the B1G. But now they are in the S16. It is what it is.

Sock says tough titty..... deal with it. Sock says stick with the encouraging fouls or 2 point conversion threads.

Sock also enjoys Oregon taking out overrated big ten teams in the tournament such as Michigan and Iowa.
