The College Football Playoff Management Committee announced Wednesday that semifinal games will not be made up if a team does not have enough players available due to COVID-19 cases. If a team is unable to field enough players, it would forfeit the game and its opponent would advance to the College Football Playoff National Championship.

There's too much money involved to cancel the Championship Game. They would just postpone it to a later date.

I'm OK with Cincy having a decent showing (for the sake of Fickell and their new President who has developed a realistic, cooperative and properly subservient relationship with Ohio State). Not winning, of course, but a decent showing won't upset me. The other game, of course, I want UGA to bounce Harbaugh around like a plastic fuck doll for sixty minutes straight.

I'm not as anti-Cincinnati as some folks. I don't know a single Juggalo and I don't care about their "look at me" silliness from the pre-Fickell days. Saban having to explain how he lost to the first non-P5 team to make the CFP would be hilarious, and stay with Bama forever. TTUN, of course, needs ass-raped Deliverance style.

Still, all in all, it's a very unsatisfying playoff.
