2021-2022 Ohio State Men's Basketball

Nebraska game to be rescheduled; Minnesota game has new tip time

Ohio State’s canceled game against Nebraska is going to likely be rescheduled sometime around the Feb. 19 home game against Indiana.

Thursday’s game against the Golden Gophers will now be an 8 p.m. tip. after the program reached a compromise with ESPN, which wanted to start the game even later. The Buckeyes might spend that night in Minnesota as a result.

Yeah, and injuries have hurt too. However, they seem to be holding their own in the AP polls in the 10 - 20 range.

They'll still make the tourney of course, but its pretty much turning into a luck fest where the teams fortunate to avoid COVID will definitely have a upper hand.

@Minnesota, @Purdue and Home vs Iowa in the next three. Only way it would be worse is @MSU following any of those games in addition. Lovely
For those of us old farts who remember our history, the first of those 3 is the most important. I had turned 16 four days earlier. Minnesota's BB program should have been disbanded at the very least.

Yeah, I may be dodging the next couple game threads. This will suddenly be the worst team ever and Holtmann a bum coach. :roll1:

People will quickly forget how well this team was playing before the Covid crap began. Unfortunately, you can't just pick up where you left off when you go weeks without playing - they weren't even practicing for most it. Even since the return we're getting more unscheduled extended breaks. Tough to be at your best that way.

Hoping Wheeler can make it back Sunday because the Bucks are going to need him for that one.

At this point Ive given up on Sueing and Towns. Anything we get from them this season will be a bonus, it seems.

Despite winning four of their last five games, out-rebounding a conference foe by 26, and whooping arguably the worst team in Division-I basketball by 46 points, Ohio State’s Big Ten title odds remain unchanged from the beginning of January according to our friends at DraftKings Sportsbook. The No. 16 Buckeyes (13-4, 6-2) have +600 odds to win their first B1G title in a decade, behind No. 24 Illinois (+230, up from +500), No. 6 Purdue (+300, down from +160), No. 11 Wisconsin (+400), and No. 10 Michigan State (+450).
