2021-2022 College Basketball Discussion

Color guy made a good point, Purdue looks like tired legs compared to NW. One detail I'm hoping the Buckeyes can avoid with the schedule we have coming up. Need bench to play great for sure.

I'm hoping to get one of our missing three back soon (Meechie). I've stopped waiting on Towns or Sueing, although they would be welcome late-season additions.

Same story every night with Big Ten refs. Purdue went the first 20 minutes and ended the half with fouls to give on the final possession (they ended up with 5 after using one on purpose).

3:30 into the 2nd half and they’ve been called for 3.

I've never been a proponent of "fouls to give" in the first half. Maybe they'll save you two points, maybe, but too often you see guys give a foul then get an early one in the second half and end up sitting for several minutes. To me it's not worth it. Be glad you don't have many fouls and just defend the last possession.

That was before Thanksgiving. Rutgers had to replace 3 starters from last season's tournament team. Obviously, it took time for them to come together.

It probably didn't help that Rutgers shot 29% (including 4 of 26 from three) that night.
Geo Baker was out too for Rutgers the beginning of the year. He played that game but not well.

The NET system is so flawed. How is Iowa ranked ahead of Wisconsin ?

Iowa is 17-7 with ZERO QUAD 1 WINS that is a ZERO they are 0-6 vs quad 1, 5-1 vs quad 2 and 12-0 vs Q3/Q4
Wisconsin is 18-8 with a massive 8 wins vs quad 1 they are 8-4 vs quad 1, 4-1 vs quad 2 and 8-0 vs Q3/Q4

Iowa is 19 and Wisconsin 20 when based on the resume you would think Wisconsin would be around 10 with all those quad 1 wins and Iowa would be around 30 with zero quad 1 wins.
