read that true freshman and up from left to right, meaning they have 1 other guy at the position and 4 true freshman (now go look at recruiting rankings and see if you think if it's the same as OSU/Bama/Clemson/UGA relying on true frosh for depth)

This dude’s obsession with citing the composite as an avenue to dispel the talent gap argument seems a bit myopic and lacks context. And lol @ his praise of Warriner.

Like, you keep saying quarterback is the only difference but lil Shae couldn’t do anything about Dobbins going for 200; Shae couldn’t stop Wilson on a go route.

I’m not an Ari guy so I won’t offer dispute there but this Harbaugh syndrome bullshit seems to have infected him too when he has the song quarterback on repeat when there are other issues — both in player personnel and the coaching staff.

But hey, criticize others for not seeing fax and evadents

Ever notice how all of these kids leaving seem to get the “oh, he wasn’t good, anyway” treatment from the DFBIA? If that’s true, I ask them....so does that mean the Harbrau sucks at recruiting, or does he suck at developing? Or is it both?

Deace [paraphrase]: "Clemson's 247 composite over four years was 91.4; Michigan's was 90.1. That's really close!"

No, Steve, that's not really close. A difference of 1.3 points per player, over an entire 85-man roster, creates a huge talent gap (110.5 points, to be exact).

That being said, Ari Wasserman is also an idiot.

Yep, there's always some 3-star kid on their roster who's going to be the next All American....

DFBIA stupidity.png

Now here are the 247 Composite ratings for each player:

McGrone: 94.81
Mullings: 93.33
Ross: 91.84
Solomon: 91.37
Savage: 89.94
Hill-Green: 88.84
Mohan: 88.16
Wheeler: 88.10
Thomas: 88.10
Barrett: 86.35
Velazquez: 85.31

That's an average of 89.65 points per player.

If Ohio State had that pile of garbage to choose from, I'd be in full panic mode right now.

But DFBIA? Nope, we're all good. Talent coming out the wazoo.

That's the basic story of almost every unit on their team.

Decent at best talent for starters then questionable depth in terms of experience, numbers, talent or all three. Their two deep is littered with examples of 3 star HS kids being part of it the day they walk on the field.

Who knew that losing a whole recruiting class could have this kind of downstream affect?

I listened to that referenced Andy Staples podcast and he even SOUNDS like a guy that should be folded up and stuffed in a trash can.

THICC Curtis Samuel. a small HS QB, whos best options besides scUM were Nebraska and Georgia Tech (likely at RB/WR). Who likely has very little real game experience on defense. Is your best option to start at one of your LBer positions? I would not call that a "lots of talent there" situation

Also Joey Velazquez being a injury or two away from serious playing time cant be good either.

Hoping/delusion that a good amount of their cache of 3 stars blow up into studs is a staple of being a member of DFBIA these days.

Seems like only yesterday that each and every one of these fucks was predicting that 5 stars would be fighting each other for the privilege of playing at tsun under Harbaugh. Today, they're pinning all their hopes and dreams on their German 3 star really blowing up big.
