Doesn't get it at QB or DL....and that's basically the opposite of what to do
From 2016 to 2020, Harbaugh signed five 5-star prospects. Three of them were DTs: Rashan Gary (1.0000)*; Aubrey Solomon (.9879); Chris Hinton (.9867).

He's also signed several high 4-star DLs: Luiji Vilain (.9734); Mazi Smith (.9536); Aidan Hutchinson (.9498); Braiden McGregor (.9470).

He's getting talent, but not developing it at all. Even Gary with his "perfect" 247 rating was a major disappointment.

* 247 Compositie ratings

Harbaugh's QB recruiting has always been bad, but 2019 and 2020 were laughable.

BTW, let's take a look back at scUM's epic 2017 recruiting class, #5 in the country with 296.03 points (blue still on team; red left program):

Donovan Peoples-Jones (.9925) - early entry; 6th round
Aubrey Solomon (.9879) - transfer
Cesar Ruiz (.9786) - early entry; 1st round

Luiji Vilain (.9734) - 2020 stats: 3 tackles
Drew Singleton (.9626) - transfer

Ambry Thomas (.9583) - opting out for 2020
Jordan Anthony (.9510) - transfer

Chuck Filiaga (.9475) - 2020 stats: none (OL)
T
arik Black (.9454) - transfer
Dylan McCaffrey (.9435) - transfer
Nico Collins (.9378) - opting out for 2020
Oliver Martin (.9251) - transfer

Josh Ross (.9184) - 22 tackles, .5 TFL, INT
James Hudson (.9121) - transfer
Deron Irving-Bey (.9072) - transfer
Jaylen Kelly-Powell (.9071) - transfer
Corey Malone-Hatcher (.9025) - retired (injuries)
O'Maury Samuels (.9025) - transfer

Donovan Jeter (.8971) - 2020 stats: 3 tackles, TFL
JaRaymond Hall (.8948) - transfer
Benjamin St-Juste (.8902) - transfer

Andrew Stueber (.8860) - 2020 stats (OL)
J'Marick Woods (.8838) - transfer
Brad Hawkins (.8783) - 2020 stats: 27 tackles, TFL
Joel Honigford (.8761) - 2020 stats: none (OL)
Phillip Paea (.8721) - 2020 stats: none
Kwity Paye (.8696) - 2020 stats: 12 tackles, 4 TFL, 2 sacks
Ben Mason (.8510) - 2020 stats: 2 receptions, 17 yards, TD

Kurt Taylor (.8472) - transfer
Brad Robbins (.7591) - 2020 stats: 49.4 yards/punt

Of the 30 signees from that class, 19 have already left the program: two early entry to the NFL; two opting out for 2020; one retired due to injury; and an incredible 14 transfers. Of the remaining players, Robbins is a good punter (and he will get a lot of work this season); while Paye, Ross, and Hawkins are All Big Ten Honorable Mention types. The rest are pretty much busts.

scUM ended up with one really good player from that #5 ranked class: OC Cesar Ruiz.

It's a red letter fucking day when I give those codsacks undeserved credit

I happily stand corrected sir...JimBo has recruited elite DL talent. He's just done nothing with it.

:slappy:

I'm already hammered and I don't know if it's off of booze or the ambrosia like quality of all the schadenfreude today. It's intoxicating

My brain was just starting to get a share of the blood supply after last week’s fail-fest; now this

I’ll just go ahead and call in sick to work for next week

Also don't get it at RB, WR, CB, and besides Bush also LB.

Meanwhile OSU has hit it out of the park at what: QB, RB, WR, OL, DL, TE, LB, CB, S, P, K
Maybe so, but they don't take football as seriously as osu does. Now, don't let hairballs 8M contract fool you. They don't care if they win or lose. They're making men of boys.

Or

Something
