This is like the exact opposite of Kevin on The Office. Instead of "Why waste time say lot word when few word do trick?" it's "Why would one wish to save time by using only a few words of their vocabulary to express their idea and what they're trying to say, when they can use many, many words to express practically nothing at all and convey almost no information?"

I’m interested what the pulse here is regarding a date when, once and for all, we hear what the actual start date will be for the upcoming season? Will we get an answer today, tomorrow, next week, etc.

It sure seems to me like a final decision is imminent. They have to know how bad they look and it appears they are scrambling to reverse course to some extent. You’d think they would make up their minds pretty quickly now.

Good point. I think at this point the B1G can still save face with a season that starts in October by saying they wanted to monitor how it went in other conferences and help prepare for better testing/protocols etc., and reversed the decision on their own volition (as opposed to saying Trump made us). Not saying it'll happen and I'm certainly not getting my hopes up, but that theory is way more likely than a spring season.

October 10th would allow a 9-game season, 1 bye week, and a B1G CCG on December 19th.

Good thing I never settled the how many regular season games will tOSU play by Dec. 15th vBet, he posted hopefully.
