2020-2021 College Basketball Discussion (Official Thread)

At least I know Cleveland State won't be playing Ohio State since they played already this year. I was really hoping CSU could get to a #14 seed but I don't see it happening.

CSU highly unlikely to win a game for the first time when making the tournament but they don't have the quality of the teams that had the other 2 times in 1986 and 2009.

CSU shoots threes about as well as I do, which is not a recipe for March success. Good job by them to win their conference, though.

They are not good at 3's or FT's and they turn the ball over at a high rate and foul at a high rate...........somehow they won a ton of close games including that triple OT thriller in the quarterfinals when they were down 3 in double OT with 7 seconds left they threw the ball in to their 6'8" 250 lb power forward and he banked in a prayer from 25 feet to send it triple OT. That was the first 3 pointer and only 3 pointer he has made this season.

The funny thing about the final minute foul-o-rama is how often it fails, which is most of the time. When it actually works people get excited, but the truth is that's rare.

Most of the time you just look like pathetic losers delaying the inevitable, and wasting everyone's time who watched the game.

OSU vs ND (one of my favorite Craft games) is the only one that comes to mind immediately for me. Went from down 10 with just over a minute left to winning in crazily exciting fashion.

As much as I enjoyed that win (fuck ND) it's still ridiculous that the rules encourage such a thing. It happens in no other sport.

Ga Tech HC has Covid right. Watching other coaches pull masks up and down, mostly under their chin, he just put on a clear shield and called it a day.
