Free throws win and lose games, and most of the time it's not the result of a final minute foul-o-rama.

Glad our team is good at them, although you wouldn't know it today. I remember seasons where that was a problem.

Texas Southern beat both undefeated teams in the semis they knocked off 11-0 Jackson State when they were down 3 and Jackson State didn't foul under 5 seconds left and Texas Southern hit the 3 to send it to OT and won in OT.

This I still can't believe. The fact that Cleveland State started their season with this little nugget in the game before Ohio State played Cleveland State. I just assumed after CSU got smoked by Ohio that they must suck this year but now both teams are dancing.

Ohio went on a 40-0 scoring run, spanning halftime, to set a NCAA record for a game involving two Division I men's basketball teams, and the Bobcats beat Cleveland State 101-46 on Sunday.

Buffalo seems intent to "extend the game" with a foul fest yet they'll lose anyway. It looks kinda pathetic, especially down by 15 with a minute to play.

I forgot to mention I remember early this year Ohio came within a whisker of knocking off Illinois at their place. Ohio led 75-74 after Preston made a jumper with 7 seconds left but Ayo got fouled with 2 seconds left hit both FT's and eventually won 77-75.

Pretty amazing they nearly won that game.

At least I know Cleveland State won't be playing Ohio State since they played already this year. I was really hoping CSU could get to a #14 seed but I don't see it happening.

CSU highly unlikely to win a game for the first time when making the tournament but they don't have the quality of the teams that had the other 2 times in 1986 and 2009.

I hope Grand Canyon doesn't shit the bed vs New Mexico State. I'm tired of the Aggies getting a virtual auto-bid by winning that shitty conference with a bunch of joke teams.

If they had any balls they'd join the Mountain West. The current WAC has no business getting a bid to the dance.
