2020-2021 College Basketball Discussion (Official Thread)

...the dip shit announcer claimed “you gotta heave it”

And Clemson does the same heave with 2.9 seconds. It did not work.

In their defense, neither of them have Evan Turner (but I agree with you).

1 seed Siena bounced from the MAAC tourney in the Quarterfinals by Iona.

Seems like a lot of fuckery in the smaller conference tourneys

With teams playing varying amounts of games the seedings in some of these tournaments look weird. Iona was the 9th seed because they only had 6 wins in conference...

SCHOOL CONF
Siena 12-4
Monmouth 12-6
Saint Peter's 11-9
Marist 10-8
Niagara 7-9
Canisius 7-5
Fairfield 7-11
Quinnipiac 7-10
Iona 6-3
Manhattan 6-12
Rider 5-14

...but they won 66.7% of their conference games. Meanwhile, 3 teams seeded ahead of them had losing conference records.

Yea I noticed that too, this one was particularly weird with how they came up with the seeding. Guess they valued games played way more than winning %
