2019 Week 3 CFB Open Thread

Here's a thought....
What game will Willie Taggart lose his job in?

Well, don't want to sound like a dick or nothing, but uh, it says on the Nole depth chart that they're fucked up. Uh, Seminole Boosters are broke, and their new coach fund shit's all retarded. What I'd do, is just like... like... you know... ha ha, you know what I mean? Like... haha.

The first 2 just don't matter. After Purdue lost to Nevada they were done. Illinois has sucked for years. MD and MSU were bad but I didn't expect MD to be any good and MSU is going 9-4 most years.

I care about getting great wins to prop up the cfp hopes, but it's too early to worry about this shit. It sucks I know, but I'll worry about it in late October.

But "great wins" this year against MD and MSU aren't that "great" when those teams suck.

Clemson will beat the hell outta the ACC because the ACC, overall, sucks, but Clemson really is pretty damn good. If the B1G, overall, sucks, and tOSU is pretty damn good..... it's, at best, a wash to the committee and Clemson has the recent history of success vs tOSU.

My simple point is: if the B1G looks like the ACC that sucks because of "strength of schedule," as you say "great wins" which are diluted if your conference clearly sucks. Just ask UCF, who beat the hell outta nobody's in their crap conference, but got zero respect until they beat an SEC team.

This just makes me mad. No way in fucking hell the Bucks should've lost at home to those clowns with their back up QB. :argh:

OSU missed the playoffs with maybe the most loaded roster in recent CFB history because they lost a game they never trailed in 60 minutes of regulation.

That MSU/Michigan punt block TD knocked us out, man.

And they'd like us in more...

They got in over us last year because they were undefeated.

Have fun with your fantasies. Just don't be mad when they don't come true.

I don't like the current reality any more than you, but it is what it is at this point.

"Great wins" aren't nearly as important as fans think they are these days. So called "style points" mean little.

Alabama goes undefeated or has one loss, they're in the playoff. The same is true of Clemson no matter how much the ACC sucks.

Two spots left...ND loses to Georgia but beats scUM and wins the rest of their games, they're in. Oklahoma rolls through the Big XII undefeated, they're in. Guess where that leaves us? Go undefeated, or go to a bowl game then go home.
