2011 was the BCS era. Bama has already won a CFP title after watching the SECCG from their couches (2017).
Oregon's loss: Auburn
Utah's loss: USC
Oklahoma's loss: Kansas State
Alabama's loss: LSU
I'll believe any of those three teams are chosen over Bama when I see it.
One-loss Georgia beating unbeaten LSU in the SECCG is the sure fire way to eliminate Bama. Georgia and LSU would get bids.
You forgot Baylor.
My entire point was 2011 was the BCS era. And immediately after the plans for the new Plus One system got serious. 2003, 2004 and 2011 were all disastrous. So....If the 2011 controversy was part of an outdated system which was designed to avoid this situation (lol with both of these teams), why would they go ahead and say Hey let's make the same mistake!
I only see 2 SEC teams w a chance... Georgia and LSU.
Just like Clemson is the reigning champion, I don't see how Bama's title is really relevant. In fact, I think there may be a lot of people who are in the sorry not this year Bama camp.
Then again, you might be right and we should all just Sharpie Bama in every year.
In any case, after the Wake Forest loss today, I don't care about Bama being in it. I have a major problem w Clemson (then again, that should be a natural reaction, right?)
