2019-2020 Ohio State Men's Basketball (Official Thread)

Not really. Jallow is sitting out the whole season. Unless he doesn't count as part of the team, then you're wrong about the healthy roster part.

The larger factor was Stevens being removed from the game about 11 or 12 minutes early. I think he fouled out really early. It wasn't a laugher until he was taken out of the picture. Stevens is the man for PSU, and that personnel loss was a back breaker for that particular game.

Jallow is part of the team but hasn't been part of the available roster all season.

Of the guys who were, all were playable and relatively healthy for that game.

I do agree the limitation of Lamar was a factor. But that's just part of the game.

Ohio State now has wins over...

#12 Villanova
#16 Penn State
#8 Kentucky
#9 Maryland
#19 Michigan (x2)

That’s an elite resume.
Yup with a chance to add to it during the next couple of games.

I know they’ve taken their lumps, but people saying this team isn’t better than last year are snorting some very expensive coke. When they’re on, they can beat anyone in the country by 20. When last year’s team was on...they’d only lose by a few buckets instead of 10+.

listening to yesterday's wtvn basketball podcast with matt mccoy and tony white. caller calls in. paraphrasing:

"i think we're better playing without dj carton. let me tell you a little about myself. i played high school basketball in the 1960s. i played under (insert some guy no one has heard of). carton came to college only concerned about getting to the nba after one season. he's not mentally strong enough to run our team. what we should do is have andre wesson run point and put ahrens in the corner. and then we should..."

humans were a mistake.
